In a feable attempt to save gas....(new car)

Some of you guys with your recent new car purchases made me a little jealous...so when I found a good deal on this baby I couldn't resist. Its a 2002 Firehawk 345hp/350ft-lbs with 27K miles....with the six speed it should get 30ish on the road and thats a far cry better than my F150 (said that to keep it F150 related! ) I really missed my WS6 Vert....and this one will look great beside my 88 Formula when I finish it. So what do you think???? And yes the F150 will stay my main daily driver!!!

I like it. 30ish seems very optimistic.

Thanks...I have had 2 (a SS and a WS6) before this and on the interstate runnin high 70s they will get right or little over 30. This one does have the Dana 44 rear axle with 3.54 gears though...so that might costs a MPH or two....but thats a very good trade IMO!

But in all reallity mileage concerns didnt figure into this purchase at all....just my love for rare F-Bodies!

Nice find... any chance you could replace that "Firehawk" on the side with something that blends in a little better? The yellow on red doesn't look right, but overall it looks like a very nice clean ride.

enjoy that puppy

Its not supposed to blend in...its supposed to stick and be very fagranet about the fact that its the baddest F-Body out there. But thaks for the compliments...I am thrilled to death!

YOU A$$.....I know you didn't buy the badest Mustang EVER! I'm officially jealous! I just bought an 06 GT.....I couldn't see paying the extra $$$ for the GT500....but that doesn't mean I didn't want one.....so how does that supercharged 5.4 feel in this car....I can't even imagine, the 4.6 without the supercharger straight from the factory is quite impressive to me.

I got it back in July and I was driving it alot a first. It was real hard to get back in the F150 after having that much hp, so I dropped a Whipple and somemore mods in the truck, now it's a lot easier to pick the truck to drive to work.

BTW, Ram that's a bad Firehawk. I have always liked Pontiacs. I had a 78 Trans Am that I tried to destroy when I was a kid. It just kept coming back for more. Wish I still had it and some of the guns in your collection.

wow, looking at the side view of the firehawk, it's easy to tell where the shape of the sunfire came from. just a shorter wheelbase and a taller roof. congrats on the purchase!
