My "misguidance" puts my total gain on my retirement investments for the last 10 years at over 1000% and comfortable retirement in 7 years at 50. I did it by going with I believe to be true based on what I see and rarely does it coincide with what any sitting king or their minions try to tell me.

It's interesting you say the new jobs are paying less than the old jobs, yet the median income is still going up. That can't happen. So I'd say your off on your assumptions. As far as retirement, what's taking you so long? I'll be able to retire in less the 15 and still be under 50.
