I've been on this board for many years now, and one thing that I often find myself in the minority on, here- is politics. No biggie, we all have our opinion. But, on some issues, I see people get vehemently defensive and in some cases offensive about "one-upping" the person they're debating against.

So, seeing threads about various topics, the question came to my mind, "Who cares?" We al know what we do care about, what are some of the things that bothers others, you just don't give a damn about?

Here are mine:

1. Celebrity lives. (I don't care who's zooming who, and who's pregnant.)
2. Sports: I'd rather play, than watch.
3. Most video games.
4. Politics (When they get in the way of solving the freaking problem).
5. Television: (Except the News, Comedy specials, Star Trek & other space shows)

I'm sure there are more, but- that's all I can think of right now (I'm on a conference call). What are some of yours?

Except that I kinda like my Xbox, and when Halo 3 comes out will probably invest in an Xbox 360, and I kinda like CSI and Last of the Summer Wine.

 

I would have to agree with the itms you listed. And maybe add one.

Who cares about sombody on this board driving something other then a ford. That should not change a persons likeablity(sp).

I don't 'pile on'. I try to introduce an alternative train of thought if I think it's worthy. I take my lumps and move on.

If it's me and Odin against the World, that's ok for me.

 

But it is always fun to watch DZ go ballistic over some liberal idea.

I agree with all the statements, especially about celebrities. Who cares what they do. I've learned that the only people that do are the people that don't have much of a life.

I cant beleive some of that crap makes the headlines over a group of soldiers dying in iraq and other important events for our country.

when you are waiting in line at the grocery all you see is magazines entirely dedicated to celebrities lives and whatnot. you can get the inside scoop on who is eating what and which starts are gaining weight. WHO GIVES A CRAP.
