I thought MSN messenger went away and was being replaced by Windows Messenger (which sucks, it has NEVER worked right for me).

I didn't think they are stored on the 'puter. If so, not in a graphic file format that is easily found.

True, but you can import your own animated gifs to your MSN and they have to be stored somewhere.

actually.....the reason I have been absent recently is due to work.....I am in the process of completely rebuilding my server in a live environment.....in addition to doing all my other tasks here.....been putting in 12-14hr days consistently for the past 2.5 weeks.....I am hoping that I only have another week of this and then back to business as usual.....

Windows messenger does suck but MSN messenger is alive and well, I use it every night to talk to my son.

Sorry Jamz, I don't know anything about the smilies. I just use the standard ones that come with messenger.

I like Trillian for my msn duty. Also lets me have the AIM and Yahoo up all in one.

Also can do ICQ if you have that too. I just find it handy to have all three messengers up at once in one list.

Ahh...I think I like Trillian. I don't have ICQ, but do have AIM (Zaairman), MSN (Zaairman@hotmail.com), and Yahoo (BuiltFordTough@sbcglobal.net).
