Closer

I found a few old pics of the Dart, I then had to figure out how to scan them into the puter. So here they are, I think I have an under hood shot somewhere. I'll have to look for it.

Dude, that's a sweet little dodge.
But, shouldnt the racing slicks go on the back? I know it's not a front-wheel-drive.

No slicks just tire shine or something, it no doubt was just pulled out from being washed/waxed.

It has a 67 318, with a cam that is a little bigger than a stock 340, I did some port work and cut the heads, a 780 holley on a factory square bore intake, I have a few aluminum intakes, just never put one on. I built a 727 tranny with a 4200 converter (room to grow) and a turbo action valve body/shifter. I swapped in an 8 3/4 rear and tried every thing from a 2.73 gear to a 4.56, had set up a set of 5.10 but sold them before i had a chance to try them.

Hey Closer, my uncle's got a 66 Dart GT Coupe, 283? V-8, auto that he'd be wanting to get rid of cheap and fast. It's been a Vegas/Cali car it's whole life, so no rust. It runs great, it just needs a new wiring harness.

273... Hmmm... I'm broke right now with the Belvedere, the wedding and buying land/building a house. I'd love to have it, but just can't do anything right now...

but you could still send pix, just in case...

If I had a pic, I'd send it to you. But, I can tell you that it's green, white interior, and has some cheezy hubcaps on it at the moment. The original hubcaps are in the trunk. The interior is great, exterior could use a good waxing or maybe paint, it's been sitting for a while, but still runs. Just needs the wiring. It was being used as a DD up until a few months ago when the wiring went bad.

GT version, probably has the hipo engine, ahh adjustable rockers.

I always wanted a 68 or maybe 69 Super Bee with the 440 6 pack and a 4 gear, with a Dana rear.

I almost had one, when I was about 17 I found one, my uncle was to drive me out to look it over, he had all kinds of Mopars in his day, he was a couple of hours late, I phoned the seller only to hear "they are loading it on the trailer as we speak, its sold"

I damn near cried, had he been on time I would have owned it.

Not quite what you want, but my buddy has a '70 Super Bee 383 4-spd (not for sale)... It's a little worse off than my Belvedere was when I started it. He's hoping to get a shop built soon, and as soon as the Belvedere is finally finished we should be starting in on his Bee... He also drives an '05 Rumble Bee... He finally got some new exhaust for it, so we can't call it the Mumble Bee anymore...
