Geeez.

Don't people realize that stuff like this is probably what the terrorists want? They love to see hate and discontent among the ranks of us Americans. The more we say that it was something our government put together to get our hands on oil, is something that the terrorist love to see/hear.

I dont get it.

How will you know the truth when you hear it?

I'm just saying if they believe it is the truth, it's their obligation to tell others. You can't just keep things secret for the reasons Jamz gave.

Here's a hint.

If it comes out the mouth of any ellected official, it probably isn't the truth.

I agree with you, but if it is "true" they need to prove their actions. Dont ya think?

Trust is earned by telling the truth. If I don't trust someone, it's because they haven't earned it and when I hear lies from liberals and conservatives alike....

How do you know when it is lies or the truth. It is so easy to fake anything you want to these days

Two nights ago, there was a "learned" professor being interviewed that said there are "good" lies. He said you should tell the truth, unless the truth is going to really hurt some one. Then it is okay to tell them a lie. That is pure stupidity and is called situation ethics. If someone is deemed to not be able to handle the truth, you don't tell them anything, a lie will just do more damage down the road. All trust will evaporate. There is no excuse to lie, though the truth will be painful. Too often, the one that is being protected is the one lieing, not the listener.

Well, I don't believe any of the GD crew,
except kobi because he uses impeccable grammar.

I cut and paste everything you people post into MSWord and spellcheck it.
How can you expect me to believe you when you can't spell words like, 'alien' or 'abducted' or 'full body cavity search'?

Situational ethics is another way of saying no ethics at all.
