i got one from canadian tire (note; canadian equivilant to like pep boys) and i havent had to use it yet but i have used it as a 12v outlet if i dont wanna run my battery down. imo if battery ever goes dead, you need a new one lol. unless you like leave lights on or something.

Yea I take mine camping and use the power supply to air up tubes for the boat air matresses etc. Like I said so many uses, so handy. I tried the air compressor on a flat on the truck once, didn't work so well. I could have had the spare on before it aired it up. But in a pinch it does eventually work.

I don't have one but my mother-in-law has a couple, she uses them a lot and they seem to work great. The hubby wants one just haven't gotten around to making the purchase yet.
