Solution to that little problem:

Anyone can operate one of these.

J/K, I'd never let my wife do any of the yard work. I let her mow a few times, and that wont happen again.

man, I use one of those, plus a mulcher when they are not so deep I cant mow. When you have about 200 trees on a acre, most of them oaks, you get covered with leaves all at once when you have the first freeze.

Oh man, I know what you mean. oak trees are real bad with leaves in the fall. I remember growing up and walking through this patch of woods behind our house, and some places the leaves would get to knee deep.

I have a 3-1 Leaf Machine. My complaint is it chops the leafs up into small particles. The smallest particles permeate the bag and the whole time I'm sucking up leafs I'm in a cloud of leaf dust.

It also sucks that I have to watch out for twigs the whole time.

Well, your "controlled burn" would probably include my house, and all my neighbor's houses and backyards too. In other words, DO IT! My dad and I hate our house, along with our neighbors.

My wife's father was a fireman, and she is terrified of fire. I have never been been allowed to burn a single leaf. Our neighbor has nearly burned the top of our hill off several times. I once spotted his compost pile blazing out of control at 1:00 in the morning. He had dumped fireplace "ashes" on the pile.

Now you see Jim, that's the kind of person that shouldn't breed.

Does this guy have kids?

My guess is yes. And probably some he doesn't know about either.

I haven't had a flat in years, but my wife's bad habit of running into curbs has cost us more than a few.

That's when I discovered the joys of a Snap On cordless impact wrench. Now every flat is an opportunity to pit. 18 volt, 350 ft. lbs., hasn't failed me yet and at work it makes quick work of swapping hitches.

Yes, and you know, he is as good a neighbor as you could have. He knew better than that but did it anyway. he also knew better the time he kept putting the Christmas wappings in the fire place until it caught his chimney on fire and nearly burned his house down. he only did it because his nagging wife kept telling him not to.
