This is not a Ford vers dodge thing, I really like my 06 Ram, I looked at a 07 Ram, the body styles are the same, but the rear tail lights are ugly Dakota look a likes, man, they are ugly, Some might say a ugly truck needs ugly tail lights, if you concur, than more power to you.

Lets just say dodge is reinventing fins out of tailights....

 

who cares..we all know better then to buy a Dodge anyway. Dodge trucks are a step down from Ford

 

Haven't seen the tailights, but the front of the truck looks a little better than the '03-'05 models.

 

Those lights look out of place......ready for liftoff

 

had a 2004 with a hemi would never go back truck was alwas at the dealer ......had power but never got to really drive it alwas breaking down......... never again will i go to a dodge or chevy.......ford for life....

 

I think they're as ugly as these.

The lightning is not a truck...it's a rocket truck, as a New to dodge guy, I like the SRT 10, But I would never say it's better considering two extra Cy and bigger displacement really don't push it over the edge like the lightning can, Kick Fords *** for throwing in the towel with SVT and the Lightning and give dodge the nod for trying to build a performance truck, Ford gave up ... and left the after market to
build up and up and up the F-150 5.43v

 

Ok 1st what the heck are you doing here starting a DODGE thread IN FORD FORUM ????? Dodge might have a 10 Cyl 500hp but you know what the trans behind that SRT10 the auto trans is so freaking weak and everyother auto trans they ever built that a Omni four cyl could destroy. All Chrysler/Dodge drivetrains are weak, look at the Cummins powered Dodges they kill trannies left and right, even the Jeeps. So in my book as far as an American truck goes D O D G E is at the bottom of the list Ford and GM can duke out for 1st place.

I almost got a new 2500 cummins but they sold it the day I went down there to buy it. it was black and had the big horn package, boy was it sweet. I cant stand the huge *** headlights on the new dodge trucks but you can get some black lights from the night rider edition that make the black rams look badass.

 

I agree the new tail lights are gay. Dodge is trying to distinguish itself from the other manufactures but I think this time they went alittle to far. Its time they call queer I for the gay truck.

This only deals with the tail lights has nothing to do with anything else on the dodge.

Let me paint it for you. The automatic transmission on the SRT10 truck is so freaking weak that even a 4 cylinder dodge omni could destroy that trans being that is that weak.

I drove an 07 Dodge last week.I agree the tail lights are ugly,but this truck was red so the tail lights didn't stand out as bad as on a lighter color truck.One thing I did like about the truck,it has plastic inner fenders in the rear wheel wells.
But my 06 Ford drives better than the 07 Dodge.
