Thanks dad

So today we celebrated my son's 5th B-day ( Its not till the 10th but we wanted it somewhere that was gonna be closed next week ) Anyway my dad shows up with a present for my son. It looks like a giant black garbage bag covering something rather big. Well we do the thing cake etc, time to open presents and my dad says lets do mine first. He takes the bag off.....

A Hamster in a cage.

Thanks

I'm a divorced father who now has a hamster to take care of too.

Better than the Pony my Step aunts got from their kids Grandpa but still.

Arrgh

It could have been worse. The hampster could have suffocated inside the bag while waiting for ccla Jr. to open up his gift. Happy Birthday Grandson!

I am sure we can help....

Christmas day and dinner at dads. Buy the young son a kettle drum and unwrap it at Dad seniors Christmas day, after the young son has had 1/2 pound of choclate Santa Clauses.

Nuh uh, I saw christmas stuff out at Costco today.

Hamsters dont live very long though, somewhere around two years or less. Which reminds me, I was looking after my neighbors pets while they were staying at the fair all week and their hamster died. They told me to put it in a ziploc bac and put it in the freezer! I guess for a proper burial!

I got a hampster in 3rd grade. It lived until 8th grade. (That's 5 years Mattineer). It's mother was STILL alive.

I never said anything about how long they live??

I had a gini pig once that lived for a good 6 years before it died, but my sisters had those hamster things that drove me nuts.

all they did was sleep in the day and walk like crazy at night in that circle thing they have, all they did was keep you up all night.
