That's good... especially around you.

The more rain, the better the yards that I replaced over there will grow...

About a month or so ago we had so much rain for so many days I was waterloggged. Since then we have had almost nothing.

It's really starting to dry out...we need rain bad.

We have been about 2 months wihout rain, many of them 100 to 104 days. We finally got some rain starting last night. It was welcome relief. My wife has an English garden type flower beds, and it has been killing her to trying to keep it all alive.

I can relate (sorda).

These aren't pictures of my lawn, just an example:

This is what my grass looked like last summer:

It can stop raining here for awhile. The crops are made mostly. I cringe everytime I look at one of those hurricanes headed for the gulf.

This is rice farming country. If matured rice gets a blowing rain it will lay it flat on the ground. It makes the harvest much more difficult.

I don't see how you guys ever keep a car or truck clean. My son lives in Beaumont and daughter in Sugar Land.

We've had about 1/4" of rain in the last 2 months. Very dry here with the constant threat of forest fires. I wish it would rain.
