Kawasaki KLX300's....How long till I cripple and/or kill myself?

IN that case it won't be long before a tree jumps out at you! Been riding 16 years and I still crash into them. Always remember that mometum is your friend...

Seriously ATV riding is a lot of fun. I ride about 1500 km per year and I love it. Just don't ride out side your capability and you'll be fine and plus you'll really enjoy the bike more. Remember, just cause it'll do 100 km per hour does not mean you have to ride that fast.
