Question Light feature

I just go to work and i was told by security that i had left my lights on in the inside of my truck and which left the cargo area light on too i have a 2005 F-150 and i was told by one f my coworkers that it has a feture that will shut it off before draing the battery is this true? i would go shut it off but i cannot leave my post.

Yes, they shut themselves off after about 20 minutes if I remember correctly.

Mine shuts off in 10 minutes. 05 supercrew. By the way its a great feature because one of my kids love hitting all the lights on the interior.
