I do like Korn, Rage Against the Machine for a change. I like the old Metalica the new stuff is crap. Ever since Jason Newstead left the band Metalica went down hill.
I agree. That "tear in my beer" song sucks. But there's still just a few good country songs left.

Werd on the Metallica comment.

Well, I like the classic country. Some newer stuff, but not a fan of the country pop cross over stuff. (Rascle flats, keith urban, carrie underwood, ext...) Gimme Hank, Hank jr., Waylan, Don Williams, Confederate Railroad, George Jones, ect...

bout 2000 songs on the itunes, and 1800 are classic country.

I'm with Adrian. Going to see Don Williams Fairwell concert next month. I've seen him every year for the last 3.

Anyway, I dont know what you're talkin about, these are great lyrics...

Last night I walked the floor
And the night before
You are on my lonely mind.
It seems my life is through
And Im so doggone blue
You are on my lonely mind.
Im gonna keep on sittin here
Till I cant move a toe
And then maybe my heart
Wont hurt me so.
Theres a tear in my beer
cause Im cryin for you, dear.
You are on my lonely mind.

I would love to see Don Williams, he has always been a favorite. I liked that line in his song, " Those Williams boys have always been friends to me, Hank and Tennessee"

That would be a nice trip. I have a cousin at Grand Junction, guess I could see them while there.

I dont know how big he is; he sits on a stool. He's up there in age, but I'll be damned if he doesn't put on an entertaining show.

I love Rodney Carrington! He's coming to STL in September, and I'm going to be there.

I know how the song goes. And I like Hank Jr. Just not that particular song. Born to Boogie, A country boy can survive, Old Habits (My fav of his), Dixie on my mind, just to name a few I like of his.

Don Williams is a fav of mine too. I believe in you, Some broken hearts never mend, Lord I hope this day is good, Tulsa time...

Hey RP, thanks for that link. I found that guy Frank Caliendo that I posted a week or two ago about on that website. This guy will crack anybody up. Check out his George Bush impersonation.

Classic country is my favorite music by far....it is followed closely by Bluegrass.

The new country is not country...its pop produced in Nashville.

BTW....in the spirit of the original post and probably a repost...I'm sure I've seen it here before but the system administrator's song
