I just bought my Laptop a few days ago and was wondering if it's possible to hook it to my desktop via USB, and transfer files between them? If not I'll get a jump drive. Thanks in advance.

If it is an Apple, for sure.

If it is a PC, I think USB network may be possibly, depends on the motherboard though I think..

 

Just plug it in and see what happens! Sheesh...

Peer to peer (P2P)....use a crossover cable and setup file sharing...

 

I'd go wireless.
In fact, I do go wireless. I'm in my recliner with my laptop right now, while my PC is in my study providing the internet connection.

 

I am wireless, im sittin on the couch as we speak typing this. And earlier i couldn't just plug it in because I don't have the cable, and I wanted to find out for sure if I could before I stopped and bought one.
