OK, I saw the previews on TV a few days ago. Maybe it's just me but that movie looks like a complete waste of time and film!

X2 I was kind of embarassed for Samuel L Jackson to be doing that kind of movie. I like his acting.

People just need to stop taking the film so seriously; Samuel Jackson sure didn't. You should have seen him on the Daily Show a couple nights ago. I assume it's already posted in this thread somewhere that the Mr. Jackson agreed to do the film without even reading the script; he just loved the name.

Exactly, it's just an excuse for Samuel to do what he does best drop F-bombs all over. That alone will make the film a cult hit.

Actually, when he heard about the script, and heard the title, he wanted to do it, based on the silliness of the title.

After shooting began there was talk at the studio about changing the title and Jackson threatened to walk if they did.

His PR work for this has been massive. You couldn't pay someone of his caliber to do the amount of PR he's doing. He's been loving this.

Even if it sucks it won't deter audiences as that's kind of the whole point.

It will take in double its production cost in the first weekend. Whether that holds is to be seen.

Snakes on a Plane!!!!

Oh yeah!

A movie is pretty damned bad when "I" can only watch half of it. It should have stopped at "big ******* in the pottie" and called it a show.

Agreed.

I finally watched it this weekend and I wish I would have waited for it to come on cable now. It took me 3 attempts to finish that damn movie. The first time, I fell asleep ... second time, I just gave up, and the third time I actually watched it....nothing else was on.

Nothing but the cans in the can scene was worth it......those were nice.
