The ongoing Israel/Hezbollah gongshow...opinions?
Hey guys/gals
This may be a repost as its late and im about 2 mins from goin to bed, but i just wanted to do a quick rant.
I'm bloody tired of listening to all of this crap about putting pressure on israel to stop their campaign against Hezbollah, and sick of listening to people saying what their doing is wrong. wtf??
Last time I checked if people are launching more than 100 rockets a day into your country and when you are surrounded by countries that continuously "deny" your right to exist (Iran's president said that... several times actually) and wish for your extinction, I'm thinking you have a right to defend yourself to your full ability.
But again, that was the last time I checked. Not one other country in the world is surrounded by so many groups and nations (in such close proximity, that is) that wish for their firey demise as israel. Why are some of our countries leaders being flamed for supporting them??
Anyways, I'm not sure how this thread is going to be received, but what the hell. Lets hear what you guys/gals have to say about this.

I keep hearing the "un-biased"
reportes on CNN asking the question of whether or not Israel's response "to the kidnappings of 2 soldiers is an overreaction." Um, are you kidding? It wasn't JUSt that...it's an on-going stream of rockets and suicide bombers over the course of years and years and they finally got fed up with it. such BS for ANYONE to even try and claim Israel is out of line. They live in the roughest damn neighborhood in town, and we ALL know that if they didn't back up their bark with some serious bite the country and its people would be wiped from the face of the Earth.

Israel is the only country in the word that is told to not defend itself by the very body that created it...the UN.
I wish the Euro-weenies would own up to their obligations. They decided through the UN, that the modern state of Israel would exist where it is. Now they want to disolve that country in favour of the Palestinians. WTF?
