OLE! Off to General!

Sorry to keep you guys waiting... it helps when you click that little REPORT link as one astute f150online.com member realized. Believe it or not, I don't read every thread.

You're wrong UrbanCowboy. The way to have handled this could've been to report or to send a simple PM to RP. He's a really good guy and would've pulled it off and pushed it GD as soon as he had a chance. I have a very large pimple on my inner thigh... I'd love to have you take a look at it some day when you have a minute. I have a digital camera...

Dilemmas.
Loops holes in the system are always good, we need to find some.

Finding them is one thing but exploiting them is so much more fun...

Yep, the CLS55 was actually faster than the M5 in straight line accelleration tests, but- when they did the figure 8 test, the M5 beat the CLS55 by 24 car-lengths (It gained much time in the surves). The CLS63 will be a more formidable challenge for the M5, but for now, when it comes to sport sedans, the M5 is in a class of one. When it comes to fast sports sedans (highway) it's still slower than the Bentley Flying Spur (192 MPH), mainly due to the gentleman's agreement between BMW and MB to electronically limit their cars to 155 MPH.

The 745Li (believe it or not) was actually quicker that the 745i, even though te Li was longer and heavier. That is one briskly accellerating, awesomely quick, big car. I can't even imagine how insanely fast the 760Li must be, with a full 113 HP advantage over the 745. (325 vs 438). Then, AMG/MB upped the ante (in Europe) and built the nut-house qualifying CL63 and S63 vehicles, sporting 612 HP each.

I haven't driven a 645 yet, but with the same engine in a more aerodynamic package, it should be quicker... Should be...

Anyway, congrats on the CLS, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

How did I insult him, I just don't know the meaning of astute. Besides, RP would not be insulted, he's pretty cool. At least i didn't call him Mattineer.

Now let's not all pile on RP...maybe he's been drinking that ground water he is trying to get cleaned up.

Note to RP: There are other testing methods my man.
