Patriot Guard Riders video

For those of you who have expressed an interest, this video explains it all:

http://www.soft-vision.com/guard/

and if you are interested in joining, feel free to go to

http://patriotguard.org/

You don't have to be a motorcyclist to participate; I haul coolers full of bottled water, tools, spare gas and oil, first aid kit, an air tank for low tires, and flags.

We have an escort and funeral coming up this week; in preparation, we have been assembling and collecting flags. I'll be pulling my trailer because we will have just shy of 500 flags available for our riders on Thursday.

OnBelay - I didn't see a link to "join", except for the forums. If you could, let me know if/when there is anything going on in the STL area, I'd be more than willing to help. BTW, do you think I will fit in with my new decal?

Should be here this week...that's the picture from eBay.

Thank you for joining. For those thinking about it, It will be the best experience of your life. I've rode on a dozen missions and every one is as emotional as the one before it.

And even though I don't care for stickers a whole lot, that one deserves a salute!

:o How the hell did I miss that? And I'm not a big sticker fan, but I saw this and immediately had to have it. It will be the only sticker on the truck.

My patriot gaurd day, was one I will never forget. All those flags, all those men and women, all those bikes. The airplanes that flew over, the sound of taps, I got chills, cried, and had an overhelming fealing of U.S.A pride all in the same day. And Ill never forget Pfc Bradburry's name.

You all need to do this, Not for the sake of doing it, but for the sake of bringing your soul and self back to what this country is really about and the sacrifices that are made for each and everyone on of us.

i had been looking for a way to make a difference, last time i read here about patriot guard. it seemed like the perfect way. seeing as i am a vet and a biker. i signed up then and am currently waiting to go on my first ride. if nothing else, letting people know that our military folks are always and will always be remembered and honored for their sacrifice.
