One thing most of America is not ready to admit that if you give those people free elections they will ELECT popular ANTI-AMERICAN Islamic Clerics. America thinks we can teach them to separate church and state but to them the state is the church and the church is the state. Especially after such a long period of destruction and horror (Hussiens era and post Hussien era). This problem is never going to go away all we can do is contain thier ability to obtain technology to keep them behind and WITHOUT the ability to gain any type of nuclear type weapon.

Its a new way of thinking about a problem its brutal its ugly but its war, somewhere over the last 60 years America seems to have forgotten the fact that war is outrageously ugly vets understand it the average John Q. Public doesn't.

Do the same thing to Iran, N.Korea as quickly as possible destroy thier ability to produce and use Nuclear weapons, take out thier electrical plants, dams, ports, oil refineries, and knock them back 500 years in the past. I know its brutal and alot of people will die but thats what happens in war people die, 70 years ago an estimated 40 million did in WWII. Alot less will die with strategic bombing of vital facilities and still produce the same "stone-age" effect.

The media seems to show "tragedy" and "loss" and make it out to be something that shouldn't happen in military conflict but its all a falacy.

If America is to maintain its status and keep itself and other democratic nations safe from tyrannical governments its going to have to adapt a much tougher and uglier policy.

Oh by the way Middle of the road Blue Dog Democrat here NOT A LIBERAL, just someone that has fought in a war (1990 & 91 Desert Storm Vet) and knows that war is disgustingly ugly and most of soft white underbelly America doesnt really need to see or know about everyday on CNN/FOX.

Russia and China at least understand what Nuclear Holocaust means. They have had Nuclear capability for quite some time and have shown restraint and the intellegent ability to sit down and discuss issues not to mention they are not ran by and do not support idiotic religious fundementalism.

Kinda hard to say what the long term will bring. I would think the Japanese would harbor tons of ill will towards us, but instead they supply us with Hondas, Toyotas, ect. Funny how a nation we nuked barely over 50 years ago is now a strong ally.

It's even funnier you say that. Today marks the anniversary. I work in the Air and Space museum in Dulles VA. we have the Enola Gay plain in their. Of course there where lots of protesters there today. Two years ago on this day they brought in paint and made a big mess.

 

I have a newsflash for all of you readers. NO ONE likes America. But they really like our money. Every time I write out my quarterly federal tax payment, I just picture it being in the 2 BILLION we give to Egypt or Turkey ANNUALLY.

Wake up folks, we really don't have allies, except maybe Canada, Japan, and UK, maybe a few others. The only reason any of those other countries like us (or say they do), is because of the billions we give them to stay afloat. If we kept our money to ourselves, we'd find out real quick who our friends are. The US has basically 'bought' a bunch of pseudo-friendships.

If we could every find a president and congress with some real ***** we'd find out in a heartbeat if they'd be so bold as to 'cut off' those other mooching countries.

Don’t sweet Russia or China as neither will do anything towards America. Why, its simple, both those countries have leaders that actually have a proper functioning brain and can think logically. They know there is no way in hell to take us out without taking themselves out. They are much different then wussy terrorist that don’t care if they die. People in Russia and China, as well as their leadership actually DO want to live…

Also, it don’t matter who likes or hates America. America is like a marriage and the others, like China, Russia and even the Middle East NEED AMERICA to survive. Kind of like Candia, while some up there may hate us they need us if for anything but pure protection from all the evil in the world.

The rest of the world needs us for our massive amounts of money and technology. We are the heartbeat of the world and the world knows that. If America dies the entire world dies. While that may sound like patriotic BS to many it’s the fact and nothing can change that fact, its reality and sometimes reality sucks but we ARE the big dog, we ARE the world’s leader.

Do you really think the Europeans could control the world like we do? No, they would all be broke and hungry living in caves if it weren’t for America providing them with a massive blanket of protection. Without our protection they would not be able to be socialist and squander a way TONS of cash they spend on their stupid socialist programs like their failed medical system.

America is the bad @ss, top dog, and leader of the world and when your on top people are always going to take pop-shots at you.

Here is deal, the world needs America but America don’t need the world as we could do just fine on our own, so the rest of the world should be careful as we can easily put the vast majority of it back in the stone ages and laugh all the way to the bank with all the money we would save. $10 for a gallon of gas would be nothing we couldn’t handle since we would have a massive amount of our money staying right here in America and not given to people so they can go buy American flags to burn…
