question about ford truck commercial???

Didnt they also tie it to a dock during a big storm? Waves and everything crashing all over it. It ended up coming untied and got swept way out in the water, but after the storm they went and got it, pulled the plugs, cranked it a few times, and started it right back up.

They did a whole buncha stuff to that truck didnt they? Lit it on fire, ran with w/o oil I think, etc. Sure impressed me.

yup. sure did...that thig was full of sand and water, changed the spark plug I think and fired it right up. The last time they drove it into the shop it was all bashed up and crooked looking...

I used my 2002 F-150 to pull my Dad's Peterbilt a short distance when it was broken down on the side of the road. That is definitely not recommended and it was only a short distance, but it did pull it. I'm not saying that a Chevy or a Dodge couldn't do the same thing, but I was pretty impressed.

Naa, it was a mechanical diesel. No way a gasser or these computer controlled diesels could have survived the salt water.

I think they pulled the injectors to keep it from hydrolockin on the first few cranks.
