New York / New Jersey kids . . .

If it really is as hot as the news claims it is, could y'all turn down the heat before I get there, because, seriously, I don't need to be uncomfortable.

Thanks.

Thanks.

It's hot as hell, but this weekend is SUPPOSED to be in the 80's.

Damn! That's downright chilly!

Guess we're gonna need tour jackets!

If anyone wants one just let us know. The Institute will sell them to you for 750 bucks (seems fair to me!)

I'll take one, but I may have to do a little wheeling and dealing.

Hi kobiashi, it's 1 in the morning right now, and my thermostat reads 84. (Don't have A.C.) Yeah, it's a little warm. Peace, Dave. P.S. Welcome to Jersey, if you don't like the weather, come back tomorrow.

Kobi, I'll make some calls and see what I can do about the heat for the weekend ( I know people! ) Since I'm going to pull an act of god to get the heat turned down for you, I feel a FREE tour jacket would not be to much to ask. XL please, I'm huge

Thank you in advance

last i heard, sunday should be beautiful.

i would wear that black leather jacket, but it would need some minor changes.

like not being leather, black, or a jacket.

maybe if it was a cool long sleeved t-shirt, and it had the word STAFF on it somwhere. that would be cool.

Have a good time.

I wouldn't worry about the heat. It's only "Global Warming."

Here, maybe this will help:

Hey BREWDUDE, I'm not that south, I'm up in Camden County. From the end of my street I can see Philly to the North. (And that's not a good thing) I do know people behind Spring Garden Marina, does that count? Talk to you later, Peace, Dave.

It's against the forum rules to sell in this forum, please consider this a warning.

Well, I'm here, and it ain't that bad. I will assume your connections worked Brew. Thanks.

Where it was bad was at the AVIS office . . . no AC and it was like an oven in there (much, much warmer than outside) those poor kids.

New Jersey etiquette question: Tried pulling into the highway which was bumper to bumper, guy left space then as I went to merge he cuts me off and started turning into me to push me back. I got his license number. So here's my question. Am I allowed to hunt this ******* down and blow his brains out for being so rude? Strikes me as a "Jerseyesque" form of retaliation, seems that's what Tony Soprano would do. I could be wrong though so I want to check first. If that type of payback is over the top then I'll think of something else.

What a way to be introduced into a new city, huh?

If it makes you feel any better, us Texans (regaurdless what vader says) would never treat an "out-of-towner" that way. Come visit us here next.

you snooze, you lose..... if there was space to get in, you don't think twice.... you have a rental car for God's sake....

If you want some REAL fun, stay until Monday AM and try driving into the Holland Tunnel to NYC around 7:30 AM..... something like 6-8 lanes merge into two after the tolls..... it's not for the weak or faint of heart.... someone gives you a few inches, you take it... (otherwise someone else will)

Where are you staying in NJ?

Mike
