Thanks for going to the effort to take care of the dog. I appreciate people that care for animals.

FedEx the dog to UC, who will post here when the package doesn't show up. Wstalhm will then pipe in with this sweet dog that showed up from FedEx and wonder if anyone wants a good dog for cheap. Though most will not get the humor, hilarity will ensue!

For some reason, that all sounds familiar.

I'm pretty sure that that type of breed you are soppose to see their ribs. I'm usre if it was a stray it was hungry and a little on the thin side. My dog which is a boxer, you can see his ribs most of the time and he always has a full bowl of dog food and gets countless number of bones a day.

Due to the fact its a pit most pounds will just put it down.I have a pit that looks just like it with out the ear job.A friend of mine works at the local pound for free to help out a couple days a week. When mine came to the pound they guessed it was 3 months old.Due to it being a pit they were going to put it down.He called me and I went and picked it up.I did not think it was fair to put the dog down just due to it being a pit.Its been a great dog for the 4 years I have had her.
Good luck and you are doing a good thing.
