Moving from L.A. to Phoenix

Hey guys,
My gf got into Arizona State University school of law so i will be moving to the phoenix area.
A few questions for you guys

Where is a good place to live? scotsdale, tempe or chandler?
What is the legal tint limit for front windows?
Are you allowed to have the tinted taillights?
Would my insurance go down when I move from CA to AZ?

Any of you have a job for me ? Hahahaha.

Any suggestions opinions are appreciated.

Thanks

Tempe is an alright place to live. Scottsdale is expensive. Mesa, Chandler, or Gilbert are not too bad.

I think tint laws say 30% for driver and passenger front, but no limit for the other windows. Dunno about tinted tail lights. I have seen them before on the roads.

Insurance MIGHT go down, but not sure...

I don't live out there now, but used to a few years back. I visit almost monthly (4 hours away)...

Good luck.

Well, what with Northridge being one of the hottest places in the Valley . . .

If you think it's hot there, you ain't seen nothing till you move to the Phoenix area.

You'll also get the added benefit of frequent thunderstorms (and their "monsoon season" which promises high heat AND humidity.

Also, learn to like brown. You won't see much green there.

Kobi,
In Phoenix they plant grass AND trees for urban beautification. (Unlike Havasu)
Monsoons are pretty neat to watch roll in, as you can see FOREVER out here.
During the summertime, Havasu is typically 5-10 dgrees HOTTER than Phoenix.

I live in Gilbert/Chandler I love it there a lot less city troubles (gangs and general **** heads) It will be a drive to ASU though plan about 45 min or more in the morning traffic, I go to asu and it is quite a drive but also homes in the tempe area are really high for what you get. North Scottsdale is nice but south is just like tempe anymore. Scottsdale is where all the clubs are at. I would pick chandler over any other part unless I could afford cavecreek or north scottsdale. Tint is 30% up front and no limit on back and no clue about tinted lights. There are plenty of jobs here anywhere you go has a help needed sign out. O yeah I have 5% upfront and 2.5 in rear with no problems to date knock on wood. here the darker the better.

No doubt (The tint darkness comment).

I have some friends that live out in Chandler. I like it out there too.
