bad news from my EX...
At the very least, she needs to be more careful. A female should never invite someone you do not know to your apartment. You are asking for trouble. Even if there was no message intended, a guy with that on his mind gets the message he wants to get from her actions. Just common sense would tell you it is not wise. She really did not know the guy and what is motives or intentions involved.

I see it both ways. It is a BAD thing that this assault happened. It is also a BAD thing if she's making this whole assault thing up.
If she doesn't report this crime, regardless of her faith, I think this story is false. Think about it.

All I was thinking is where were the freinds that set her up with the dude? Youd think she call them to find out his last name? what kind of car he had? where he lived? his local hang outs??
I just cant see her not knowing his last name or what kind of car After dating a few weeks?????

That's exactly what I was thinking. And if she doesn't have this information, then the friends who set her up must be able to find it.
It's horrible what happened to her, but charges CAN and SHOULD be filed. Cell phone numbers can be traced by the police.

Seems pretty conveinent that there is no evidence.
I could wrong, but you have to be very careful, people can do some pretty sneaky things for personal reasons.
For the most part , I would direct her to the police & let them handle it.
Best & wisest thing for you to do.

For a religion that stresses unity of the family and has family oriented practices built into their ceremonies (such as Family Home Evenings, etc.,) I can't imagine they would shun her due to an act of violence forced against her.
Something does not seem right here.
I hope she is OK, and I hope she is gets thru this without much trauma, but fear or reprisal is a pretty weak excuse. If she really was raped and she does nothing about it, then she is letting a rapist walk and if he acts against someone again, then she has done nothing to help prevent it.
What do the Mormons think about allowing perpetrators to continue their violence due to their inaction?
Please just know, That you have been told of this crime, and some where down the road people are gonna judge you for not doing more than giving her phone numbers. Since you were the one she called. This is including the police.
Good luck my man, And I hope it dont happen to another woman. You never know when its gonna strike close to home.

10 voice messages from the ex, asking me to call her, first message was a question for me to decide if the ex should cut her hair, I take this as a act of self punishment, next message, can we get togethier for a coffee, can I get a ride to work, WTF, So I called the Ex, asked her if she had filed a police report, she said no, I told her to file one, than she tells me thiers was not penetration.
"Go to the church and speak with your bishop and leave me the hell out of your life" was my response, I told the ex I changed my phone number and I'm never speaking with her again.
