'66 stuff...

Gettin some more electrical work done on the '66 F-250. Started with the rear tag lights not working and that won't pass inspection. Pokin around found all this...

Three different trailer light hack jobs and 40year old dry rotted wire. Built a new harness for the taillights, turnsignals, brake lights, tag lights, and pigtails for coming reverse lights and a trailer connection.

So get it all wrapped up with soldered and heat shrunk connections and new tag light sockets.....and everything works cept for the tag lights. grr.

Quick work with the multimeter determined I needed a ground wire to the bumper.

While working on gettin the dash lights working, I noticed the reason is a busted headlight switch. So on to looking through the boxes of parts salvaged from the junked 64 and 65 we scrapped.

might as well get it all organized and cleaned up.

The headlight bucket trim from the 64 was botherin me bein all rusted so what the heck, wheres the sander?

The bed should be coming off soon to get painted.

Nice... I was torn between buying a Classic Ford and a new one.. the 04 won out, but once this one is paid for, Im picking up a classic for restoration purposes... I had a 1970 Crew Cab that needed restored, turned out to be too big of a project...

Ah...the famous gasket. I'm glad it hasn't happened to me yet. I did manage to spill a quart of the used hot oil all over me and our driveway before.

Any special reason you prefer to wear boots with shorts? Just something I noticed a while back and kept bugging me since.

Cause the chicks dig it. I bought a pair of cowboy boots once, and I had on black athletic shorts (Nike).

Haven't found a sneaker that is as comfortable as a good boot, and I just wear shorts all year round to stay cool
