I also played Mission Hills two days in a row, both days 111.

Wore black shirts all times. (Not smart, but hey, I'm and idiot so what can I do?)

It hurt, but it's never too hot for golf.

You just have to bring tons of water to make sure you don't die of dehydration . . . it's wild, but you sweat so much that your shirt is encrusted in salt (as is your face).

Now THAT'S a love of the game. (or sheer stupidity . . . or both)

Ha...there's even a bigger brew in the mix, he was here all last week.

I know I'm working when there's at least 10 posts in a thread since my last post. Then I'm working to much...and I don't like that

Playing Golf in the heat is one thing..

I gave it a shot in late November. Man my hands hurt everytime I hit the ball.

We made it through most of, if not all, the course.

Yup, done that too. I love the cold and was playing out in nothing but regular golf attire and a sweater vest, arms totally exposed. We had to wait a few hours to tee off to make sure the greens were not frozen (sould cause serious damage to the greens), but the lakes were still frozen. My friend hooked a fairway shot what would have been in the water but the ball bounced off the frozen lake (and bounced high!). For some reason this struck us as seriously funny, and it still does as I am laughing as I type this!.

Guess you had to be there.

I'm hoping to play Sunday and it's gonna be near 100 out in the OC where we're supposed to be playing.

Watching the British Open now, watching Phil implode. And hey! John Daly is OB on 18 . . . and, he appears to be losing weight!!! Go John!

Phil is a strange guy.

He isnt Norman and choking constantly

but he aint no Jack either where he can perform consistently.

His masters performance was just awful to watch.

Oh and bouncing out of a water trap would be funny....but I dont think I would play if it was that cold.

Played in every type of weather immaginable.

Oh dear. John Daly Just hit a secon ball OB on 18. Now he's 6 to the green. Looks like he now won't make the cut. Shame after an awesome eagle on 16.

What was Daly's longest drive for today? Man, can that guy put a hurtin on a ball off the tee or what? Was the eagle a chip in or put?

I wish I was watching it.

BTW...do my posts seem "random" when you read em?

YEA!!!! UPS just brought the part for my toy!
I get to go to the lake this weekend!

But that means that I have to go out and put it on, also means that I'll have to fix the wifes ride, (which I want to anyway so she doesn't get in the habit of taking my truck to work). I don't think that she would be to understanding if it was cool enough out I could fix the boat; but not her car.
Also means I can't use the excuse that it was to hot to do anything. So I'll also have to mow. SOB this was a double edged sword.

Don't know what his longest drive was as I tuned in late. I turned on the TV and he was putting for eagle . . . which answers you next question:

Was the eagle a chip in or put?
about a 6' putt after an awesome second shot. He missed a 9 footer for birdie on 17, then imploded on 18 by hitting his drive OB, then hit his fairway shot OB and ended up with a triple bogey and as a result will not make the cut.

Tiger had an eagle 2 on 14. They are talking about it but I have yet to see a replay . . . I wanna see that one.

BTW...do my posts seem "random" when you read em?
This question makes no sense . . . what?!?!!?
