What the HAIL???

Wow, big storm rolled through. I can only remember hail once here and it was pea sized. Painful to watch these things hit five trucks for 10 minutes

hmmm didn't show up in the pics, but they were startin to pile up on the hoods.

Then this thing comes flyin out of nowhere and bounces off the side of the 71.

Looks like a few small dings here and there I can pop out. At least the lariat was save in the garage.

hails never a good thing. Did the hail do any damage?

One of the good things about working at the Nissan plant in Canton, MS is that they have a "hail cannon" to protect the vehicles sitting outside waiting for delivery. I'm not sure if it works, but if it does, it protects everything in the local area. I do know that it does make a lot of "boom" noise, and residents within a 3-5 mile radius have complained about the noise.

Diesel and 71 up top, 92 behind the diesel, the 97 behind the 71, OJ out on the street, Lariat is safe in the garage. Even took this pic to make sure later...

We had our share of that when we lived in Texas. Used to hop in the rig and zip over to the nearest underpass to wait out the storm. Every underpass in the city would be like a parking lot until the hail stopped!

Thought I was the only one. I do the same thing. When I hear that a storm with hail is approaching I drive over to the local carwash or bank drive thru on weekends to get the truck undercover.
