Ok, I admit hanging around here for seven years with the same truck when my only mods are Ventshades and a christmas tree air freshner may seem quirky but,......

.....a site with a half million members and 7 million posts...

....about CELL PHONES ???

just put a gun to my head and blow my brains out, please!

Yup.

When I researched about which cell phone to get recently becasue I was changing carriers, I came upon sites devoted to cell phones. Each model has a following, and there were people on these sites (and not just a few, but a lot of people) who own multiple phones, and change phones every few weeks, and if you think my posts can get long winded at times, these kids write volumes on each model they have. It's an addiction for some.

It is seriously, seriously weird and sick in a way. No, actually, it's just downright sick.

Fear not Raoul, you need not have shame, nor dread this cell phone addiction that is running rampant . . . just know that you are fine and have a sense of proportion. That is no reason to beg for your own mercy killing.

Well, I did get a new air freshner but, I wasn't going to post about it until next week.

I was kinda 'saving' it but, what the heck.

I was just taken aback that there would be an enthusiast web site for such a thing. I had never really looked. Are there other sites for mundane items?

I think the saddest thing in the world would to be a moderator on Scott_Tissue_online.

I'm kind of like the new Razor from Verizon with the Nav system built in. Might get it for the wife.

Call me old school, I'll just continue using the bathroom mirror.
You start relying too much on technology and one day the hair on your butt will be gone.

Is that what thread drift is? Is this how it begins?

LMAO, Raoul you're hilarious.

Yeah I was doing research on there about phones and what new phones were coming out for Verizon in the next two months as I'd wait to get a new phone if new ones we're coming out. I learned about the Canary, Chocolate and KzR1. The Chocolate is a candy bar slider phone from LG, Canary is a smaller razr from moto and KzR1 is a CDMA version of the moto SLVR.

I think I'm going to wait for the SLVR to come out for Verizon and then make the switch from Nextel to Verizon. Nextel has been OK, but I don't use the direct connect feature anymore. Not to mention my Pioneer Z1 has bluetooth to use the phone over the speakers and my moto i930 does not. I'd rather not drop the $225 needed to get the moto i870 with bluetooth for Nextel. Mine as well put the money towards a better phone on a carrier with more coverage.

It is a lame forum though. Only slightly ahead of the toilet paper forum and the two-ply threads. What's worse is a moderator who just closes threads and bans people for repeat topics. There would be nobody left on F150Online if our mods started doing this, half of our idiots repeat themselves daily.

I like my dingleberries right where they are, thank you very much!

(now I'll go look up 'dingleberries')
(in retrospect, probably should have done that first)

ok,
I went to the urban dictionary and let's just say I've led a sheltered life.

While I may seem quite worldly and avant-garde at times I must confess that I had never heard the term until the topic was broached on this very board.

The learning never stops @ F150online.

Sorry jamz, it could have been much worse for me if I hadn't looked it up.

I might have gone out and said something like....

"You think I'm scared? Well, you don't know me!
I got dingleberries the size of grapefruits!
"
