Ford Hurtin'

-as of end of June, Ford sitting on 123 day's worth of F-series pickups

-last week Moody further downgraded Ford bonds

-stock at lowest price in 16 years

-dividend recently cut in half (which could be a good thing)

-2007 models will have 5 yr/60000 warranties (definitely good for consumers)

-2007 models will have lower base prices

WSJ also says to look for another round of aggressive incentives and price cuts on remaining 06s

Hmmmmm

Although it will suck for me since I just bought an '06 on the present incentives. It'll suck if they give an even better deal!

Forget about what kind of deal you missed out on with the lower prices, everyone who already owns a new body style F150 just lost money as their resale value just went down the drain; Again.

Just freakin' great! It's not bad enough that my truck has already lost 50% of it's value in just 2 1/2 years. Now with the new incentives I'll probably lose another 10-15%!

I better trade this beast in before it's down to single digits!

Is that price for a 4x4 or 2wd? The local rag (newspaper) has 06 F150 2wd xlt screws nicely loaded for $20,888 and the 4wd version for $24,988

I'm never selling my F-150, so I could care less about current resale values.

However, another year or so of high gas prices could really drive down demand for Mustang GT's -- thus making for some pretty good deals/incentives when I go to purchase one in the next year or so!

Well, all of the post-96 F150's are ugly IMHO (do like the 350's though, those they haven't made so rounded-off and bubble-like.)

Anyway, it's sad that Ford is getting ate up by all of fuel prices and rice-burner cars.

Trading their stock at $27 a share, while Ford is at $6.38. Hmmm....
