Nationalautoshopper.com ?
So im selling my 2002 Lightning with 24,800 miles and i get this call from a lady representing Nationalautoshopper.com, basically she was saying that they can sell my truck for around 25, 26,000 and i get that. They make there money from the financing and waranty they offer. HAs anyone ever used them or know if this would actually work, am i better of continuing to sell it on my own? Thanks for any help
I've seen this type deal before on Harleys ect. being sold through Ebay. I believe it's a waste of time. People can get their own financing and why would you need a middle-man to market your vehicle? I would suggest the regular auto(truck) trader-- get the big ad, Craigslist (its free but may have less viewers) or Ebay.
I might give them a try even if it gets sold for my asking ill be happy, i can not lose a thing because the $499 i give them i get back when its sold...well basically my asking price plus the 499..might work, i will tell you how it goes, its been a couple months and have only got a couple offers, so who knows.
So they are saying that they will market it until it sells for $499? If they are selling on ebay see what their feedback rating is, are the vehicles they market actually selling? Or are they just running ads with a low sales ratio. I would not trust them or give them the $500 myself.
well i did it...oh well i will see what happens, its not like i gave them my truck, and they said they will not accept or decline any offer unless i tell them to. i will keep you informed of what happens.

Don't accept their price of $499 LOL.
There is ALWAYS room to negotiate. When I sold my Ranger I had companies like that call me and I played hardball and they cut their prices in HALf. I still didn't use them, but it goes to show it can be done. Tell them you will do it for $200.
