haha where did this come from?
I actually looked at a new cummins before I got my truck and it was nice, but I dont care for the new headlights or the grille. the cummins and power wagons are nice trucks though.

I never liked the look of the Dodge Rams. To me the front end looks over-done and heavy-handed. Even those five spoke polished mags look too thick and out of scale. When I drive past a Dodge dealer and see 30 or 40 of them all lined-up, it reminds me of a bunch of carp coming up for air. Sorry...probably not what you wanted to hear.

I think the '06 redesign of the Dodge Ram is absolutely hideous! The previous version ('05 and earlier) was a pretty nice looking truck, however....

Ford and dodge copy each othier with styling cues, head lights bulbs and turn signals look identical as well as having the grill built into the Hood, But Ford has a fully Boxed frame, Dodge dose not.
I do like that dodge has the 7 pin trailer hook up built into the bumper, Ford likes to hang off the bumper and the white faced gages on the Ram suck.
That truck is more comparable to a F250 than an F150. The 1500 is the F150 equal.
I have always driven Dodge Rams before this F150 and they have always been great trucks....and in my case trouble free. I am not disappointed in my choice of a Ford this time but would certainly consider buying another Dodge in the future...just not from my local dealer.

Two of my cousins just bought Mega Cabs. One went from a Ford F250 diesel to the diesel Mega Cab. The other went from a Silverado to the hemi Mega Cab. Going to be fun to see how they turn out.

I'm not into lifted trucks, but that doesn't look too shabby. The '06's actually look a little better to me than the '03-'05's. They changed the front end a little. I have to admit that they look better than the '08 Chevy trucks that are coming out.
The 2500's have the solid front axle.

The 5.9 adds at least 900 LBS to the front of the truck and over seven grand to the price, thiers no room for the factery winch, the 2500 rides verry well for a 3/4 ton truck, it's no sport's or luxo car, it's a solid simply built truck.
as with the F-250, the 2500 ram has the front springs and shocks as one unit, not so long ago Ford had leaf springs on the front, I thing 05 or 06 Ford changed this on the Super duty trucks.
The power wagon is to dam big to go off roading on a tight twisty trail and I don't know how well diesel engines do being bounced around off road.
