motorcycle jack question

i have been looking for a motorycle jack (cruiser). i want a center jack for use with fluid changes, maintence, and probably winter storage.

i looked at some of the hydralic jacks, like models from sears, but they seem too cumbersome, and storage when not in use would be a p.i.t.a..

i found one scissor jack, i think on the dennis kirk site, but it was 240.00, and i cant see how a simple scissor jack should cost half that much. a scissor jack is what i would prefer as it has a much smaller footprint, and storage of the jack would be a breeze.

we seem to have a good number of bikers on this site so i figured i'd check here to see what others are using, and if they were happy with what they had. any insight would be appreciated.

i've got one too, they suck. used it once in 5 years to hold a 4 wheeler. storage and moving are a serious P I T A. get a swing arm stand instead.

thanks for the link, and especially the can with stuff in it.

will poke around on that page, i like the idea of that working off of air power. that might work out as long as it has safety catches on it to prevent it from slowly lowering itself over time. i will have to give them a call.

thanks for the info.
