New Motorcycle!!

Went and bought a Yamaha VStar Silverado today Wish it had a name other than Silverado LOL. Need some relief grom gas prices and mileage on my truck. Black and Blue. The blue looks awesome in the sun. Gonna start riding it tomm in the neighborhood to get used to it.

Nice ride. Those are really good looking bikes. Maybe someday the American made bikes will be as reliable.

Thanks for the comments. I really like the way it looks. Didnt want something too powerfull as this is my first bike. Took the MSF course and going to ride around the neighborhood the next few days. Can't wait

wants a Harley, but when I look at my old dirt bike helmet from 30 yrs ago and knows what it feels like to flip over in the dirt wide open, I say no I better not

I've ridden an American-made m/cycle since 1994. I have had one mechanical problem (not major by a long shot) and no electrical problems.
I think that's pretty reliable.
Now, my wife has ridden a metric cruiser for 4 years and has already had one major mechanical problem.
I think that is not as reliable as the American-made m/cycle.
