OK, now I haven't read the link but on this web site that TOTALLY qualifies me for throwing in my 2 cents.

Now even though I didn't read the important stuff, I did look at the chart (because I like neatly drawn lines and aligned numbers all in a row . . . it's pretty) and here's what stands out to me . . .

What the hell is up with all the PEDESTRIAN DEATHS ?!?!?!?! It seems regardless of what speed y'all are driving out there, you're picking off pedestrians left and right !!!!!

What is up with that?!?!

Maybe we should lower the speeds to 2 or 3 MILES PER HOUR so that pedestrians stand a better chance. In fact, until y'all can learn to stay on the roads while you're driving, maybe you shouldn't be driving at all!!!!

Pedestrians are worth 5 points each.

Tourist are 20!

The road is for cars, not people!

There's a point system?

Why wasn't I told about this? I'm way behind now!

Was there a memo?

I'm going to Disneyland. I need to rack up some points.

How many points for kittens?

It should have been on your driving test????

That was the first few questions on the written part of mine, and counted for 95% of the score.

No points for kittens; but, you do get a tingly feeling all over.

Driving test?

The Hell?!?!

Dude, I haven't taken a driving test since my very first one back in . . . . well, a long time ago (you were probably just PSS-ZYGOTE back then)

Here on the left coast we get automatic renewals via mail as long as we have no tickets and such. As I have a perfect record (no dead pedestrians on my sheet) I have been getting a new license every four years and never set foot in the DMV office (which in California is the WORST possible place on Earth to be). Granted, I look nothing like the picture on my license any more (there's a picture of a skinny kid with brown hair), but so it goes.

It's been a few years...... (looks left and right shifty eyed)

alright a couple of decades since I took my test, but I remember it like it was yesterday.

Here we get a notice, you have to go to DMV, but they have a seperate room for renewals. Ussually, if you time it on the right day. and the right time of day, the you can walk right in, hand the lady your notice and get through. They sit you down and check your eyes, (doesnt matter what it comes out, one time the machine was down and I could only see the right side. So they put on my license under eyesight "unknown" I have 20/15 better than average) then the give you a road sign test, then take your picture, you can preview the picture and if you dont like it, they will even retake it now, then they print it right there. You walk out with your new license and they punch holes in your old one.
