...Ford brought back some of the ole badge names. Like "Trailer Special" for the tow command system or "Camper Special" for the camper package for the new 08 Superduty redesign with the 6.4TT?

A lot of people who buy those things today probably wouldn't remember what the hell a "Trailer Special" or "Camper Special" was.

Kinda like with the Lincoln Zephyr - the target buyer doesn't remember when the Zephyr was a Fairmont in disguise, a Mercury at that, not a Lincoln.

I used to own a '69 Montego MX with a 428 tire roaster. The new one is an insult to the memory.

I don't know... Look at all the crap that's got a historic name on it. Impala. Monte Carlo. Malibu. Charger. Cougar. Montego. etc... In my opinion, the new Mustang has nothing other than looks going for it. After 30+ years of Mustangs, they still can't afford a 6 speed? I actually like the new GTO but I don't think it should be called the GTO. LeMans maybe, but not GTO.

Ehhh...maybe. I like the throw-back names when they bring the tradition of the vehicle with them. Just throwing a name badge on something without some actually link to the past wouldn't mean much to me.

Gosh darn it bring back the twist-in triangle windows from the older pickups...I really miss those windows.

I wish they would do an update redesign of the 73-79 F150 for the next style of F150.... that woudl be sweet...
