Will This Affect F150online?

I hope Ford doesn't take the same road, or I will extend my boycott to them as well.

The most annoying thing to me was that many parts shops were shut down, but VW did not offer the same parts. Because of their tactics and harassment of small time shops and enthusiasts I will never buy a new VW again.

GM makes a killing by allowing companies like Year One to produce parts for the '60's-up muscle cars. I'm sure the brass at Ford can't understand why all their '60's cars are ending up on the scrap heap.
Or better yet they're being rebuilt with GM parts!

What are you talking about? You can practically build a whole mustang out of resto parts. GM making a killing????
Year One also has catalogs for 65-06 Mustangs.
I get parts for my 72 F250 here.

Okay, I'll shut up after this...
If you're not worried, I'm not worried.
And Steve, I'm not being "overly paranoid" as you assert. Just curious and slightly "concerned" about a nice little "outside support system" (F150online.com) for the vehicle I bought. I've gotten some good information here and used that information in my decisions regarding that vehicle.
Perhaps I'm not properly "supporting the brand"; when it comes to corporate support, I tend to "vote with my wallet". My F150 was the "best fit" within my price range at the time I was looking to replace my old Silverado; so I bought it.
I actually did "grow up in Fords"; my Dad was selling for Swift Ford here in Yuma when I was conceived; and they were all we had as far back as I can remember. However, I've grown to learn that almost all of the major manufacturers nowadays put out a quality product (though no Pontiacs will carry my name on their title again!) - else they would not still be in business today. To that end, I purchased a Dodge Ram for my wife (to replace the Grand Prix that formed my predjudice) from a good friend who was the local "Dodge Boys" Sales Manager - though his wife drove a Silverado HD. Another good friend (at the Ford dealership) sold me the F150 - he might have sold me a Silverado or another Ram; but again, my head and my gut told me that the F150 was the best fit in my price range. I still think it is, and I'm more convinced every time I get behind the wheel. Period. I guess "supporting the brand" falls short when it comes time to whipping out my checkbook to purchase something I'll have to live with for a while.
From my standpoint, I can see some sudden acts of "corporate desperation" on Ford's part (Why, after such an extended period, did this action rise up yet again?); and, again, I see my own employer taking some quite frankly foolish-bordering-on-stupid actions these days. And it just makes me shake my head in wonder......
Anyway, I've said all I care to say. Think I'll just **** now and go back up to the Tech Forums on this site.
