alright no harsh meaning behind this peacemaker, but common, devil.... its far past 1800, science has come into play.... prayers---> church---> currupt. Not saying all of them, there are definate believers, but sick stuff does happen, how can you base your life around that, never having a wife, never having sex, then coming to find out the person who preaches to you has been doing something with someone elses wife or even worse child ( again not saying all, but a few )

Or stealing all that stuff from my homeland italy, making vatican city one of the richest citys in the world. (yes i know where it is)

It could easy just be another story told down throughout time.

Science you say? Science is mortal Earthly knowledge. Even the greatest of all scientist with all of their scientific theories and hypothesis will never fathom just how powerful God is. I don't care what they say, heavenly powers cannot be understood by mortal man.

I don't know what your talking about with the "never getting married or having sex" or the "child rape" talk. Believe it or not, there's a thing called "marriage" where a man and a woman unite in "Holy Matrimony". And it's totally possible to be married and be a Christian at the same time.

Now about the devil. He's the one who turns the churches and preachers/ministers corrupt. He's the one who puts diseases in people, feeds people with lies, fear, and evil thoughts. Read the Bible, it's all in there.

You might not believe in God, I don't know. But look at it this way. What if you don't believe, and I do? If your right and I'm wrong, and there is no God...aww shucks! I guess you were right.:o

But if I'm right and your wrong, what do you think is going to happen to you?

What people believe (religion) and do (kill each other) is up to them. They choose between right and wrong. They will pay for the consequences or be rewarded on judgement day when they are judged by God. I have said enough. It's your choice buck. I pray for you too pal.

 

Like I mentioned before no hard feelings, I know any religion is a touchy subject.

But what I was talking about above was, the "few" preists that have had action with women / children. There was a pastor in my town that had to leave his position because he was sleeping with wives of people in town.

But you cant stereotype all of them, the vast majority are dedicated to what they believe.

Also like you said, If your right and Im wrong, all I have to do on the way to "heaven" is say I repent my sins and god has to forgive me. But if Im right and your wrong and you live your life to what you believe is under another persons "rule", as in; no sex before marriage, no stealing, no lying, etc. How can you actually live your life to the fullest. Say you want to date a women with kids who has had a divorce ( she still believes in god ) how can you explain that, which I have done. I loved her, not to sound obscene but had sex with her, does that make me a bad person???

How can you justify living your life to meet what you think someone else wants you to. You dont know whether the bible is true of false, it could just be another story handed down throughout generations.

Im not saying I dont believe but where are the hard facts? Science is proof only because it explains things through facts! Not through a story where no one can actually confirm/deny truth/exaggeration/lies. Yes they have books that date back to... but dont we have fiction writers today, what if it was just a great writer telling a story that has been retold and retold and is now understood many different ways. ie christian/islam/jewish

If you truly "believed", you'd believe the Bible as a fact. Not some mere mortal Earthly scientist's beliefs. On another note, being married to a divorced woman isn't right in God's eye's according to the Bible. But, it also says he's a merciful God who is slow to judge and slow to anger. He looks at the circumstances before he judges.

He says those who believe without ever seeing my face or hearing my voice (as in us, the people of today) are truly blessed. It's all about faith and believing. I don't think a story that complex, would have been changed and written as a lie over 2000 years. He sent us his "word" written in the Bible through his 12 deciples so that for those who might believe that he died for our sins, and was risen from the dead three days later by God, and humble themselves and repent of their sins, and turn from their wicked ways, shall be saved and have eternal life in Heaven.

But how you live your life up until your last second on Earth, you will be judged for. You either live by the word or you don't. Simple as that.
