Last night I went to the K&N Nationals at Etown with Vinnie and Mike00L and we got to meet the MAN.
Signing autographs and posing for pics.
Had a great time and saw some AWSOME racing.

John Force got Vinnie's autograph? He'll treasure that forever. Very cool!

 

I met him like 4 times... He autographed my helmet years ago... too bad it's all beat up now.

 

I also went. It was a pretty good night, but surprised that John Force didn't qualify for the first time "since 1987" I think was said... I got to meet "Snake" Purdham, I used to build models of his cars as a kid. Any night at Raceway Park is a good night I guess....

 

John is qualified for the race, they get four qualifing passes. The picture of John denotes he is 'dead tried' as that is not his usal expression.

 

He Qualified 8th.

 

Vinnie had another young fan there, but thats a whole other story.

He's the best, done that in 91 at Ennis Texas. Can't wait to see the daughter on the team next year.

 

i have a 7-11 t-bird model i built in 1984 that bob glidden autographed in his trailer for me while i got the tour while at the summernationals (what it was known as back then) at e- town..

That is really cool Al, Force is a great guy who gives it all he's got. He does look a little beat compared to his usual 300 MPH mode, I guess racing week after week for 6 months gets a little tiring. I'll have to watch the finals and see how he does.
