Home theater project finally done!
Very nice and clean!
Not sure where your priorities are...ie trade-off between sound and cosmetics, but if you move the speakers further away from the TV you will get a much more distinct surround-sound effect. If the center channel is right by the two front surrounds it tends to sound like it all comes from one place.
Either way,
Can you say, MOVIE NIGHT!?

Steve, Question. How did you manage to get it centered on that wall? Dont you have to mount the tv to studs? Or did you just luck out? I ask because I think I'm gonna get a 37" LCD here soon and I want to center it on a wall.

Maybe my eyes aren't working right. The TV isn't centered on the wall.
Looks good Steve.
As Odin pointed out, it's not actually centered to the wall, it's intentionally centered to the primary viewing position and well placed for the other viewing positions in the room.
The TV bracket is mounted in the studs, but since the bracket allows for the bolts to run through about 5 different positions, I think it would be possible to center it on a wall and still use the studs, if that is what you want to do.
The speakers are not on the studs, but they each use six 90 lb drywall anchor bolts, which should more than do the job.
As for the speaker placement, the imaging on these speakers (Definitive Technology Mythos Two/Three) is absolutely amazing and given where they are mounted, we have the aesthetic look we wanted and still have fantastic separation. The room is far, far from the ideal place for a home theater, so utility was more critical than absolute sound quality.
Thanks for the compliments everyone!

I bought the Harmony H890...works everywhere...and programmable via USB over the Internet. Just tell it the components you have and it does (most of) the rest. I've customized one button and call it the "Sitter" button. It turns on the TV, Receiver & DVD Player, selects the proper inputs and then displays a list of the DVD's currently in the player. (it holds and catalogs 400) In the past, we'd have to explain to the sitter (or our parents) how to use four different remotes.
