Nothing to do

Why is it that Wednesdays are always the day I have absolutely nothing to do? That's the same day I meet with my Boss to discuss work. What a jip. Even if you look at Monday, Tues, Thurs, and Fri, I don't really have a lot to do; but at least it's something.

sorry about that.

I need to take some courses, have to do 40 hrs of continuing education each year to keep the CPA certificate. I like my job so well, I hate taking time off to do that crap.

I know your pain.

You could always help me find tutorials for photoshop (I'm ditching PAINTshop when I get home tonight).

You don't need help with that; there are about a gazillion tutorials on the net. Google is your friend.

Typical IT person, nothing to do and too lazy to help. Always says go do this, go do that, won't lift a finger.

I can mess with photoshop; do my online tech courses all day long; but what I need is stuff that's work related to do; you know so I can actually convince my Boss I'm still essential personnel?

I had to work on it, repeat it 2 or 3 times to get it right.

I dread Saturday. We are going back to Sugar Land, this time for my grandson's birthday. My daughter needs new brake pads on her Surburban, front and back. My son-in-law is in the construction business and is swamped right now, so I volunteered to do it. Sure going to be hot down there, they live near the Brazos River and the humidity is a killer. I will have to haul my floor jack, stands, and tools down there. Should have kept my mouth shut, but hated for them to pay what the shops charge for that.

But the hug and the thanks dad makes it all worth it!
