This works in Photoshop CS....press the spacebar, and the tool turns into the little "hand" that allows you to grab and 'push' or 'pull' the image around. When you let go of the spacebar, it turns back into whatever tool you are using.

Hey Matt, thanks for posting that little how-to on color changing. I have always wanted to learn how to do that. Here is my first shot at it, using Closer's ElCamino, and your advice.

Just wanted to say that's a pic I stole off ebay. HOPEFULLY, mine will look like the photoshops sometime next year...

BTW, what do you guys think of my color choice? (excluding the #3 and mullet comments)

I think that's a good looking color combo.

That's the colors I want for my truck. Something like the 2003 harley F150.

I could give it a try. But, I am still learning this. Might be good practice. I am about to head for home, but if you post a couple of pix, and explain what you want (color wise) , I'll give it a shot. (Later on tonight)

Jamz, could you post a few other shots of your truck?

I am failing miserably with this one. I can't seem to find a way to put a smooth seam there where the black line curves around on the front fender.

The ElCamino had some definite lines to grab on to when using the selection lasso. Your truck doesn't, so it's tough for me to try to add those curves.

And, even the panels I do try to change color, come out looking very much not real. Can't seem to get the "shine" of real looking paint.

Maybe someone with some real photoshop skillz could give this one a try...
