this ought to be interesting

I hate to add to the **** on Rob parade, because I've always been a fan, but your gonna have to learn right quick that you don't have a lightning anymore and your posts are going to be moved and deleted.

Also, I don't understand your financial strategy. Wouldn't you have been better off keeping your truck and buying an early model suv as a family vehicle, daily driver. Seems like it would have been a better bet to have some extra money to float. Don't understand why you just went through what you did with your truck.

How much did you sell it for if you don't mind me asking.

[QUOTE] It's thirstier too, with EPA fuel mileage numbers of 12 city/15 highway. Our lead-footed test drivers averaged only 11 miles-per-gallon.[QUOTE] Out of one "gas hog" into another! Good Luck, Rob!

A 1.8/1.9 60 foot time is fu(king horrible for an all wheel drive vehicle.

Hehehe my Typhoon with it's 1993 technology ripped off 1.7's allllllllllllllllllll day on 245/50/16's.

I love the jeeps, but they DEFINITELY are using some sort of torque reduction on launch. I'm not sure how truly beefy their trannies are. DCX seems to really de-nut it down low.

Rob02, you seem like an alright guy who may have had some bad luck along the way recently, but GEEEEEEEEEEZUZ you really are in left field in regards to your vehicle situation and the finances that go into them. I remember a while back that you refinanced your house at one point to mod the truck. I wish you better luck in the future with your TWO new vehicles.

I actually thought you meant the mustang Rob - I have no doubt your Jeep will perform

Once a lightning brother always a lightning brother

I for one am happy for you Rob. If I had the money I would need a hanger to put all the cars and trucks I like in...

The Jeep is a cool ride...And the stang is just plain sweet...
Best of luck to ya...

I never said what I do ever makes sence

The bottom line on the L was I was totally prepaired for the first motor and the cost was extremely affordable. People always say it's the little things that'll bite you on the a$$ and boy oh boy did I learn what that meant. I spend prob more trouble shooting the issues that following year than I did on the actual build itself, in the end it turned out to be a simple 02 sensor wire pulled out of the harness. &@$*(@&$%(@$%(@$ Then yes my Ronbo luck ran out one more time and the fuel Solenoid seemed to have clogged and that final lean out was enough to chip a valve and bye bye built motor.

After doing it once, then paying more to trouble shoot it, and then having to do it again was just too much. Not to mention everything I just bought that was brand new for whatever reason was not used and I had to buy EVERYTHING all over again. Even after all that some say why the hell sell now, everything was brand new and it ran awesome. I say I simply could not justify putting one more penny in it and I know I would so it just made sence to sell it now while everything was perfect and new.

As for saving, paying bills, etc, I'm dead and will never retire, I excepted that a long long time ago.....

Oh btw typhoon43 yes the jeep has all kinds of stuff preventing a good launch, no one knows yet all you have to do is pull a fuse, BUT I KNOW
Torque converter and SC will put one right into the 11's, maybe someday but not now. For now I feel I have 2 beautiful vehicles, one that has 420 usable ponys 24/7, and one hell of a good looking convert that is really fun to drive.

I'll say my good bye's again and check in from time to time .....

"Ronbo luck" is an oxymoron.

This guy is classic. Lets hope Junior over there gets some sort of college scholorship or he aint going! This move makes as much sense as running 150 shot of nitrous on a new engine

So you sold 25,000 in vehicles and bough 45-50k in vehicles? hahaha
Yea i can see the debt decreasing already

Good luck Rob... I'm selling my wheels to pay off a credit card. I'm stopping myself now from getting into too much debt.
