....better question....why did you resave your sig in a format other than a *.PNG.......now you do not have a transparent background.......

Wait...how do you save an image with a transparent background?

I have tried and tried, but when I save the file it shows up as white instead of transparent.

That is exactly how it appears in my sig, only wrapped with the IMG tags.
