I saw the documentary on TV of the original guy doing the glide thing. He almost froze to death, so I hope these new suits are a bit warmer.

This is why reading the entire article, rather than just looking at the pretty pictures, is helpful.

Once close to their target landing zone, the troops pull their parachute rip cord to open their canopy and then land normally.

I agree. Some of my favorite magazines have all these useless words around the pictures... Like someone is going to read the articles...

That is hella-cool.

Yeah, it's cool, but dude, given your size . . . .

well, we hired an artist to do a quick rendering of what you would look like in this equipment:

What with the extra large size (as demonstrated next to the average guy), your radar cross section would make the whole thing useless . . . not to mention they could see that fuschia outfit from miles away, even in the dark.

Hey, it says it can carry 200lbs of equipment. I'm assuming that was 200lbs of stuff on top of the weight of the little military runt using it so I should be just fine... with the exception of my legs sticking WAY out from it.

I dig the rainbows though. Can I get the wings in another color besides that drab military dark gray?

A nice electric-blue contrasts well with your suit:

Learn... Jump...

I don't freaking think so! They'd have to push/throw me out... I never understood why anyone wants to voluntarily jump from a perfectly good aircraft!
