Yea def congrats on the new home.
Out here in Southern Cali there has been slowing in home sales and a little price decline here and there but there are also a few ones that still went up.

A lot of the factors many people already pointed out is what area they want to live in. So like I was some areas are still going upward while others are a little down, but the flow of people coming into so cali is still very high so there wont be a huge drop, even though some houses sit on the market for a longer time they (for the most part) are still being sold.

Some smaller houses dropped like 10-20k but our big listing just jumped up another 4 mil to a total of 15.9mil.

I paid $185k in '95 for a waterfront off the Chesapeake bay and was told I paid too much (it was the cheapest) of the ones I was looking at. Isabel came thru in '03 destroyed some waterfronts, and now the replacements are going for 1.3M just around the corner. I dont think I paid too much for it now (paid off too)
