Why I am not around as much as before...

...I am sure ya'll are real concerned....but...nonetheless, here is why I am not around as much as usual:

1) Busy as all hell at work....have a huge meeting coming up in June that I am trying to prepare for...but keep getting side-tracked with other "fires"

2) Been busy with the woman....

3) Destroyed my knee in softball a few weeks back....going to have surgury next Wed.....gonna have my ACL reconstructed and holes tapped into the end of my femur to get the stem cells in my marrow to grow some new cartilidge (since I tore it off of my femur)....

4) Heading to East Tennessee tonight for Memorial weekend...gonna do some camping and hiking before I am stuck on crutches for a few weeks....

....these four things may not be as much of a distraction as the seem but I honestly cannot find any free time lately....

...so......with that said (and to some of your disappointment) I am still breathing.....just busy.....

Poor baby...

Seriously Bill... Feel better and have fun this weekend and don't hurt yourself any worse...

PS - You should be heading to Havasu for Memorial Weekend... It's a Not-To-Be-Missed weekend here.

Sweet Bill; at least this appears to be a temporary situation. Work will go back to normal and heaven knows the woman's going to flee any day now.

Sorry about the softwall incident. I'm actually playing Thursday in my first game; we're kinda fill-in players for a team this season

I have a question.....

If your gonna have your ACL reconstructed and holes tapped into the end of your femur to get the stem cells in your marrow to grow some new cartilidge (since you tore it off of your femur)....HOW THE HELL are you gonna hike?

That sounds painful.

.....it is VERY painful......but I have been "walking" like this for 3 weeks....I am kind of used to the pain and having my knee give out every so often.....

....I will see if I have time to post some pics of my x-rays and MRI's before I leave for TN....the x-rays show the ripped piece of cartilidge floating around in my knee and the MRI show my ACL "frayed" (imagine a thick rope that is being pulled as tight as possible.....now.....place a knife against the rope and slowly "fray" the rope.......eventually it will "snap"........I am a few threads from snapping right now.....)..........

Isn't the East Tennessee 5K Cure-for-Cancer Run happening this week? I say go for it, it's for a good cause...

Hey Jamz... Slick sig...

I guess once I start building up my Heep, I'll have to get a new sig...

Can you add a BIG R.I.P. over the top of my current sig for the time being?

I had ACL reconstruction done several years ago. Good luck with your surgery and your recovery.
