Help..Computer Problem!!

This morning my 2 year old was banging on the keyboard. Now I don't have any icons on my desktop. Where did they go? How can I restore my desktop?

Assuming you are running windows xp

1. Right-click the desktop and click Properties.
2. Click the Desktop tab.
3. Click Customize desktop.
4. Click the General tab, and then click the icons that you want to place on the desktop.
5. Click OK.

Any other loaded programs you have, you will need to find the .exe and right click drag (make shortcut) to your desktop

Good luck

if they were deleted they would be in your recycle bin.
It might be as simple as right click arrange icons.

My kid launched some post-it note program that I've never been able to find since....

He also enabled spanish on my TV when he was 2.

Amazing what the little buggers can do.

if none of that works for you, send your computer "back into time". Basically your computer will restore to a certain date before your problems.

Go to:
start
accessories
system tools
system restore.

Thanks everyone, for all of your help. I tried DOMESTIC's advice because it seemed to be the most simple and it worked. This probably won't be the last time I use this function. Thanks again.
