You beat me to it....I guess with all that transporting them across the sea we haven't taught them how to drive....I guess it's time they stand watch on the bridge as helmsman

I wouldn't trust them as helmsman. Lookout, maybe, but not in control of the whole damn ship

Don't know if lookout would work either. You have to first take his Q-tips away...

Why is he any different from anyone else? Just because you know he's a Marine and where he works, you want to raise hell with him or whatever. Would you do it to any "regular day Joe" you saw on the street, even if you did know where they worked? I just don't see you or anyone else marching into his office or anyone else’s office and talking smack to them about the way they drive or calling their boss. I guess you'll be forced to do like the rest of us and just suck it up and move on.

By the way, I don't too much smack either, I drive a Kia.

He's a member of the military, and of the Dept of the Navy... We hold ourselves in higher regard than the general population... He's bringing discredit upon himself, and the corp... I guarentee Bigtruck will agree... Espicially since he's in uniform...

Lariet, it's not that I'm saying he is or is not bringing discredit to his Service or any other Service, all I'm saying is people have always been really quick to say "I'm gonna call your command". I was in the Military many years and I got sick and tired of hearing people say that exact line when they were pissed at you. It's like they are trying to hold something over your head. How many of us would call Bill Ford or one of the Ford Exec's if we saw a Ford Employee driving like an A-Hole? More than likely, none of us would, so my point still remains, why bitch to his command or Super. If anyone has a problem that big with a person, talk to him yourself and not run home and tell your Mom. But I do respect and understand your statement.

Also, I am no longer in Uniform, but I still work with the Military and do understand the "hold in higher regard".

In case you hadn't noticed, people who drive agressively generally are the ones you see on TV involved in road rage incidents and talking rationally to them probably isn't on the top five ways to deal with someone whose overloaded on testosterone.

It's all too easy to say move on and leave it be, but if you see someone doing something that clearly endangers someone else, perhaps you should consider that it could be you or your family that will be their victim someday.

There's a difference between petty meddling and doing what's right. In this case, just call the authorities with the license plate number and file a report, if you see him continuing to do it, follow up with the police to make sure they know you take it seriously. Calling his CO or employer isn't the right way to handle it in my opinion, that puts it on a personal level, unless of course they're driving a vehicle with a "hows my driving sticker" at which point you have an idiot at the wheel driving recklessly while begging people to turn him in.

You're full of it Randall. If he weren't a Marine I would already be making a scene at his place of employment. I would have marched in there without even talking to people on here for input.

You should have seen me B-slap the pot heads zooming down my street at 70mph last Friday night. Had them and the whole house party sht'n bricks. My dog was even scared of me.

You do get tired of the threat toward your job. That really got old for me.

That's funny.

I do agree with the uniform part. If he going to be an idiot on the road, he should not be wearing the uniform at the time. No different if he was from another occupation that has a uniform. We have a problem around here with people driving to the Prison. They are late like anyone else sometimes, the difference is the uniform and it draws attention to them, and they get complaints.

Call the cops and report him like any other citizen it has nothing to do with him being a Marine.

Kretinus, on the issue of confronting him, then yep you are right. It should be handled by getting a plate number and calling the authorities, and by no means do I say yes it's ok to do that(driving like a retard) because it's not.

So, becasue he's a Marine means you won't approach him? Are you scared he's going to B-Slap you like you did the "pot heads".....

Also, thanks for pointing out the fact that I'm "full of it". I didn't notice until you said something...
