I just went and picked up my new company car 2 weeks ago. When I got it, I only got a temporary registration. I just got the permanent registration in the mail today with a new sticker for the tag. I had my plates just transferred to the new car so it is the same plate. It does not expire until August of this year. When I got my registration, it came with a new stick dated for 08/07 which is next year. Can I put this on my car now since it is only May? Or should I wait until August to put it on? My registration also shows 08/07 expiration date.

I have seen where they will give you the next months sticker if it is expiring the next month, but I have never seen giving one 3 or more months before it expires.

 

I'd put it on if it were me, only because I would end up losing it in the next three months. :o

 

It happens all the time. Slap the new one on and don't worry about it for another 15 months...
